This year’s guest speaker will be Dave Johnson\, who spent over 40 decades in senior leadership at Church of the Open Door in Crystal\, Minnesota.  He is a devoted follower of Jesus having navigated the Christian life with all of its complexities and demands.  Managing expectations- and not always meeting them.  Maintaining his faith- and not always feeling it.  But his years in ministry\, as a leader\, teacher\, preacher\, author\, and mentor have been\, and continue to be\, marked by his impact.  Upon retirement… Having experienced what it takes to stay in it for the long haul\, he’s moved into a new type of ministry; helping others stay in it for the long haul in order to build Things That Remain.  If you wish to get more information and/or help provide a wild game or fish dish for this event\, please contact the Calvary Baptist office at 775-738-6840. \n \n
